Palmetto buffalo grass is a tough, soft leaf buffalo turf variety that is available Australia wide.

It’s one of the most popular buffalo grasses worldwide because of its ability to look great with very little maintenance.

This turf provides an instant lawn in Melbourne with good winter colour and can generally out-compete weeds when established. Palmetto buffalo grass generally requires less watering and less mowing than some other varieties and is available in rolls.

  • Each week, our main delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
  • Please note that these delivery scheduling days are subject to Availability and work load.
  • Turf deliveries are to nature strip only unless otherwise instructed prior to delivery,
  • We will only enter a customer’s property at client’s risk, if the property owner has given their consent and, if any damages should occur whilst completing this task, then Austral Turf Accepts no responsibility whatsoever for damages.
  • There will be a flat rate of $160 charge at check out for all deliveries within 30 km of the CBD.
  • Deliveries that are outside the 30 km radius of the CBD will incur additional charges.
  • Most of our deliveries are usually completed by 12 pm on the day.
